Global Crown

“What does it take for the viewer to adjust his or her vision and truly see what’s happening because of global warming as well as to take action?” Wujcik uses pixels, or squares of colour, to serve as a metaphor for apathy.
I love messing with pixels and I love the metaphor that Wujcik is communicating by using large, squared, low resolution pixels as a blurring element over what seems to be the thorny crown that {en:Jesus} wore on the cross. It calls me and interests me whenever there is an artistic commentary on one of the most venerated figures of all time.
